Demo CD from NY band The Bad Mouths. It's an energetic affair swathed
with US punk (maybe a bit of Butthole Surfers influence in there). This is
way better than any first demo CD should be. The songs are fully formed and
the performance is great in every musical department. You know the way that films
nowadays seem to be built around the soundtrack - well, So Last Year should
really be taken up by a movie producer because I can just see it blasting out over a
high school scene in some future project - and it would sound great. All four tracks
on this demo are available as MP3s on their website so you've got no excuse.
