Polanski

Polanski Feb 2004

Tracks
1. Hate This Music
2. Sticks and Stones

Polanski are a London-based alternative band just signed to Prolifica with a single planned to come out in the first half of 2004. It's dreamy guitar indie with hints of jangle and some keyboard for added texture. The vocals are exceptional and with the added harmonies, produce two songs of dynamic and sweeping beauty.

Polanski play emotional and melodic music with suggestions of a harder edge being introduced at will. It's firmly in the English 'indie' category but they don't sound like they are copying any other bands. This just reeks of quality. Impressive stuff.
